It talks about the issue regarding women's actions, such as, street harassment hashaving little importance. There has been a collective of evidence to show that women defend themselves when it comes to such matters. For instance, they would “speak back, [ask] for help, physically fight back, walk away, and more” (Fleetwood, 2019). These women would actively “resist harassment” (Fleetwood, 2019). She also discusses the impacts this situation has on women and the positiveness it has on them. Some of the women feel empowered when they hear other women standing up to their harassers.; it gives them a sense of hope that they weren't alone and that they had each other to lean on.
