"Hey, Carol, did you hear the Dixie Chicks will be at the Civic Center on Friday?" Jeff asked, hoping she would join him.
"Yes, but my cousin Allison is visiting for the weekend, and I really don't want to leave her alone with my parents.," Carol replied, immediately regretting that she had asked Allison to come over for the weekend.
"Allison could join us! That actually works out perfect because my cousin Robert is going to be with me, that. That way she won't feel like like the third wheel.," Jeff retorted, hoping Carol would agree.
"Awesome, we would love to go!" she exclaimed excitedly, she. She could not wait to see Jeff.
"I'll pick you up at five and we can go grab a bite to eat first! "Can't wait!" Jeff was beaming.
