I believe that interviewing my brother in law'sbrother-in-law's father for this assignment is relevant to this course because this course focuses on the crucial events that happened in the postwar period and how that impacted North America as a society. That being said, his story is relevant to this course because the assignment is about interviewing someone from the last 74 years and what their historical background is, he. He was a former immigrant because he eventually did move to Canada. So, one of my questions would be asking him why he decided to move to Canada, and doeswhether he thinkthinks that he made the right choice to move here. It will be interesting to know how he was he treated as an immigrant here when he moved, because it depends on which year he moved here. maybeMaybe immigrants were treated differently than whathow they doare today. It would and didalso be interesting to find out whether he ended up getting his Canadian citizenship. Knowing information like the exampleexamples above is relevant because I am asking him not only about his immigrant experiences in Canada, but also fromabout other country countries he's lived in based on my questions I will ask. I also believe that he will be able to tell me stories about what he remembers about his life when he moved here, based on my questions. He will be able to tell me how his life has been impacted and, because he loves meaningful conversations, I believe he will tap into his memory and answer my questions, so I couldcan have a better outcome.
