Entry One-Homeless Video Journal
In the video that we watched on December 1st, I saw how things can be viewed differently, and a few words can really change your perspective on something. OIn this video, I saw an elderly man that was homeless holding a sign, hoping someone would feed him. The man’s sign said what you would typically see on a homeless man’s sign and; that’s the reason no one would give him anything; because he appeared the same to everyone, and nothing made him stick out. Later on, a womean came along and got the man’s marker, and she wrote, “It’s a beautiful day out, but I can’t see it.” The womean’s words later told us that the man was blind, and totally changed our overview of this andm; people started going crazy, donating all over the place, just because of that one miniatuore modification to the man’s cardboard sign. So, my view on this is that you should be more broadpen and really show yourself out to others if you want to be noticed.
