As a result of my being so young when I gave birth to you, I feel we raised each other. Though a lot was expected of you at a very young age, you did then and continue now to amaze me and never let me down. You gave me the strength to carry on. I am so grateful that getting through those lean and stressful times made you the loving, caring family man that you are and that you continue to honor the importance of family in your life. I am so excited that Kristen and Peter came into your life and ours so that we may continue to grow from the power of love. I didn't give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you.
