This semester newsletter gives an update on Cambodia’s Trade SWAp programme activities, for which the Ministry of Commerce has played a central role in coordination, implementation, monitoring, and mobilizing financial and technical resources to support Government line ministries and private sector trade development strategies.
2017 will be a key year for Cambodia
:, as the country was chosen to lead the Least Developed Countries (LDC) group at the World Trade Organization (WTO), taking over from Benin. The Ministry of Commerce, as the lead agency for multilateral trade affairs, will provide much-needed support to WTO members with the prime objective to complete successful negotiations on trade for the 11th WTO Ministerial Conference, to be held on December 11-14, 2017, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
