Although universities often advicse them for havinge a job, at least four out of ten students now work during term time. Students do jobs in exchange for lower rent, but most of them work in part-time jobs to less pay than regular workers, and usually during night or the weekends. Students at time jobs are a lot more likely to miss lectures and assignment according to a National Union of Students study.
