Racial Pprofiling has grown to high numbers as “police searched 5.4 percent of blacks and 4.1 percent of the Hispanics they pulled over, but only 3.1 percent of whites.” (Andrews 10) ". It just comes to show that even though they search a certain race more than the other, “searches of blacks and Hhispanics were actually less likely to uncover contraband than searches of whites.” (Andrews 10)." If we do not stand up for a change now and push our efforts, we are only a step closer to going back to racism and segregating people because of the color of their skin.
