Single window provides a single gateway platform, where trade information fofr import, export and transit regulatory requirements is electronically exchanged between participants in the trade process. It aims to eliminate duplicate and redundant data requirements and processes. Itand reduces the paper burden on the business community and government. Reducing multiple data submissions to different agencies also helps to minimize errors during data entry errors.
