There are many small changes happening inat this very second that will eventually lead to something big, such as the next big World War or a Tsunami or someone’s death or the beginning of someone’s encounter with the love of their life. All these tiny changes that lead up to huge events make up the concept of the Butterfly Effect; it is the theory that one small change in the status and condition of an event such as the flutter of an innocent butterfly soaring through the sky can have a dramatic effect on the outcome of an event - like cause a tornado to develop on the other side of the world, or, less drastic, cause a plane to experience turbulence. In the famous play written by William Shakespeare entitled Othello, he demonstrates how something as seemingly insignificant as a handkerchief becomes the perfect symbol for the butterfly effect-amongeffect among others in the story, that resulted in chaos between the main characters, Othello, Iago, Desdemona, Cassio, Roderigo and Emilia, and led to a tragedy.
