Five years ago I gotwas laid me off. It was a difficult time for me; at the time I was naïve, leavingliving alone and in school. My mom paid for my car and rent and luckily, that included water and electricity. I also had some money saved, but since I was alone in a new city, I decided that I would need that money for an emergency. Without any consideration, I decided to maintain my lifestyle with credit cards. Because I had aan excellent credit score, for the next six months, I took on multiple credit cards and I paid for almost everything with them. I had dinners with friends; I partied and bought clothes,; all charged to my credit cards. Until one day I had a lot of debt and realized that what I was doing willwould ruin my life. Finally, I found myself a job and started to prioritize what was important in my life.
