PROJECT INTENTION
A journey through Switzerland; Experience the country through foreign eyes and collect a wealth of impressions.
A Chinese tour group travels 3for three days across Switzerland. Passengers look forward to sightseeing, shopping and hiking. We accompany them from morning to evening from the inside of the bus. We see their activities on the bus and realize what their expectations are and what feelings the country leaves behindgives them.
MOTIVATION AND GOAL
In 2012, I was part of a four-day group travel from Urumqui (northwest China) to the Altai Mountains. The passengers were all from China. Since I can’t speak Chinese, I have learned by observing them a lot about my fellow travelers and about the country by observing them. With this movie, I want to give viewers a journey through Switzerland, wherewherein they get to know the country from a new perspective.

PRODUCTION AND SHOOTING
RESEARCH (spring 2019):
To clarify the shooting conditions, two people with a camera and a microphone will accompany one group on a bus tour for one day.
SHOOTING (summer, autumn 2019):
Two people with a camera and a microphone will accompany the selected tour group on the bus for three days to shoot the documentary.
PROTAGONISTS AND IMAGE RIGHT
The travelers, as well as the staff, will learn about my project in advance through an information sheet, which I will give to the tour operator, from my project. The purely observing camera inon the bus doeswill not affect the daily routine, thiswhich should run as usual.
