Although African Americans are often negatively stereotype oftenstereotyped in todaystoday's society, millions of Black people conflictare conflicted over these views. Despite the fact that there is ahas been an African American Presidentpresident, that a lot of blackBlack people are educated, and the fact that a lot of blackBlack people make big bucks, people of other races continuescontinue to make negative judgementjudgements about the intelligence, integrity, and the strength that African Americans possessespossess. One prevailing sterotype,stereotype is that Black people are not as intelligent as other races;, even though there ishas been a Black president. They say that we don’t value education; we place our value on money and owning material things. They say that African Americans are lazy, theyand don’t want to work real hardvery from dusk to dawn if necessary to get the job done. They even say that Black studentsstudents' work ethic is less that thosethat of other races. That’s why therePeople believe that African Americans' scores so low on statewide standardized tests are so low due to the fact that they don’t work hard. There isare so many examples of people who provehave proven that these twisted judgements about Black people is so very wrong. Too bad theythey'd rather hold on to racial negativity instead of holding on toonto the reality of Black success and prosperity.
