Universities and colleges are the most important steps for beginning to work for most people, and work simply means money. Therefore, a person who aims to pursue a career, and in this way earn money, must enroll in a school. I think that the universities and colleges must be designed for a student to get information about a specific topic, and become expert in a certain research field, but unfortunately, it seems that they have lost this mission nowadays. When I look at people around me, I always realize that they do not have enough aspiration to gain knowledge, improve themselves, or research what they are curious about. They all think over how they can get a good position whichthat can support them through their lives, in terms of livingfinancial means to live on.

The second purpose is gaining fame. I do not mentionmean to be a worldwide famous person by saying this, but rather mean to get respect from those who are around them. For instance, one of my friends has gone to Europe and enrolled in one of the worldwide renowned universities, but when I talked to him by supposingin the hope that he may fosteradvise me to go for a better career, he told me that he only wishes to be respected fromby his family and friends and added that he never expected his works to be useful for further scientific researchesresearch.

In conclusion, although I have enrolled in a department in the hope that I will contribute to the scientific literature, I observed that a lot of people consider colleges and universities to be corporations through which they gain money or feel more confident. I strongly believe that this point of view has to be changed, otherwise, we may lose a considerable amount of progress in all scientific areas.
