This is PFC Jason from 16th Ordnance Charlie company. I want to know that isask whether there is any chanceschance to change my duty station to South Korea. I already inquired to my drill Sergeant before I sendsent this email, but I haven't gotten thean answer forfrom him, so I’m sending this email to you right away.
My father ran a small restaurant last year. Before I entered the military, he decided to give up the restaurant because of his health problems. He has adhesive capsulitis on his shoulder and lumbar herniated intervertebral disc onin his back. Especially, aA month ago, he called aan ambulance because he couldn't stand up by him self. His doctor advicedadvised him to get a back surgery. However, the cost of surgery is too expensive, and after the surgery, he needs a caregiver. He can't attempt to get the surgery.
My parents are going through a rough time because of health and financefinancial problems. My father is unemployed, so I will apply thesubmit form 137-3, which is dependency statement parent, as soon as possible. I considered that they movedcould move to in the stateStates, but they are too old to be adapted the new culture and cannot speak English, so if they came to the StateStates, they would obviously have a harehard time. I know that I would be reassigned after a year, but I want to try to take care of the most urgent problemproblems.
I know that it's hard to change the duty station, but if I go to South Korea. Not, not only can I cantake care my parents, but also I can also focus on the armymy Army duties as well.
