While I was working at womenthe Women, childrenChildren, and youthYouth office as a government employee, I have seen so many problems and significant challenges. Specifically, one of my responsibilities was in the field of economically empowering women through training. In Addis Ababa, there are 116 woredas, depending on their geographic area. There are around 30,000 people living, on average, in one woreda. The major problem I was facing each year was that itI was presumed for mesupposed to give training for thetrain young women to enable them to be an entrepreneurentrepreneurs, collaborating with micro and small enterprises, though there was poorthe budget allocation of budgetwas poor. This poor allocation was not only for my department, but also for all the other sectors involved. It was next to impossible to train them all. As an assistant researcher, I want to conduct the research and come up with a good solution that can change each and everyone’s life who participated in the training. We are working on getting a more adequate budget from the government to conduct our research and trainingtrain thoroughly so that it is more efficient in helpingwe would be able to help the community more efficiently and overcome the issues we have targeted.
