In 2004, the UAE turned intobecame a signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). The UAE normally takes an interest in, and has worldwide meetings on, women’s issues and has marked every single universal settlement on ensuring the privileges of ladies.
Women in the UAE have seen much improvement in our cutting edge society in regardsregard to women's privileges. Although some women in the Middle East still do not have equal rights, the UAE is ranked as a leading country in gender equality in the region, according. According to the World Economic Forum’s 2018 Global Gender Gap report, “human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights. Therefore, women should have the ability to speak freely and to say what is on their mind and they have the right to be respected by everyone, no matter what.
