Geologist, MSc in Structural Geology and PhD in Regional Geology. Practice in leading teams of geoscientists for exploration, operations geology, and field development. Began his career at Petrobras, in 1991, working on seismic interpretation and cross-sectioncross-sectional restoration. In 1994, moved to the Federal University of Parana to work as a Professor in Geology and Coordinator of R&D Teams for the Industry and Brazilian Governmentgovernment. From 1996 to 2007, was Independent Consultant in Structural Geology, Play-Based Exploration and Reservoir Modeling. In 2008, returned as a regular employee in the Industry at Vale O&G, as a Team Leader. In 2011, moved to HRT, acting as Exploration Manager. In 2013, moved to PetroRio to lead a G&G team applied to oil field redevelopment. In 2016, moved to Rosneft, assuming the position of Head of Subsurface Division. Currently is the Director of Exploration and Production at BPS – Brazilian Petroleum Studies. Practical exposure in geoscience management and exploration of South American basins, especially in Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia, and projects on Walvis and Orange offshore basins of Namibia, the UK and Norwegian North Sea, including regular trips to evaluate playsplayers and assets. Technical Representative in Joint Ventures, practice in seismic acquisition and drilling operations, and familiar with Brazilian Regulationsregulations. Published as authorauthor or co-author of over 40 papers in specialized journals and hundreds of conferences, abstracts and seminars inat events.
