o The amount of last minute and urgent pop up tasks (for myself; mainly Moments) takes a lot of time that I would like to spend on other things. I would like to work smarter by working more focused on the important projects, but due to the amount of urgent last minute work, the important tasks also get delayed and end up being rushed/last minute as well.
o It would be great to have more best practices/examples from other regions. In calls that I have attended so far, mainly HQ initiatives are shared and we know little about what other continent teams are doing. I am sure we could benefit from learning more other continent initiatives.
• What do you do well or differently that has potential to scale across the combined EMEA organization?
o Loyalty Strategy Template Marketing Handbook: ThisIt would be great if someone in Europe could review it, as I am sure they could add some additional ideas for implementation.
o Moments: Often brand activation Moments are very individual, depending on the event. But for hotel Moments, we could create something like a “standard’“standard" Moment for our focus brands which can then canbe easily be customized for different hotels – ideally. Ideally, if we can get different Moments live at the same time, we could create a “Moments collection” across EMEA and use PR and brand support to promote these as well. Also to work together on HQ Moments initiatives.
o Activation best practices: Keep a list of best practices for activations, so that we can easily go through these and select whatever we would like to implement for upcoming events (eg. MB Mocktail as a welcome drink, list of available video files, list of updated talking points with members, etc.).
