My most memorable childhood was when I was 14 years old. It was the last day of my vacation in the Dominican Republic. I went to a lot of places that day. I went to the river, water parks, the mall, ice cream places, etc. It was around 5 PM when I arrivearrived home. Days before that, my grandfather was teaching me how to ride a motorcycle. andAnd just as every little kid, the first day he started teaching me, I taughtthought I knew it all, but I did not. On the last day of my vacation, I wanted to ride the motorcycle by myself, but my grandfather wasn't home, so I decided to ask my uncle to let me use his motorcycle, and he said yes. Immediately after, I told my mother, and she said no since the motorcycle was another model that I had never useused. I begbegged my mother like a thousand times so that she permitted me, sheto permit me to ride. She got so tired of me that she ended up saying yes. But she said that I couldn't do it by myself, so I decided to tellask my uncle to go with me. A lot of people were watching me, so I got apprehensive, but excited at the same time. I accelerated and presspressed the brakes on the highest speed, which I wasn't supposed to do. The motorcycle immediately started riding on only one wheel, and my uncle immediately fell off. I went about 4 meters on only one wheel. When I couldn't control the motorcycle anymore, the motorcycle leanleaned off to a fence and threw me over the fence. This event taught me that I shouldn't take things lightly and I should've of listenlistened to my mother that day when she said no. Today, after 3 years and a half, I still have scars on my left arm and my left leg.
