The first consignment of Safrotin was reachreached Sri Lanka on 15th April 2020, but, due to Covid 19the Covid-19 pandemic issueissue, the country was under lockdown situation untiluntil the end of May. Anyhow, with grate difficultiesgreat difficulty, we couldwere able to clear the consignment after one month, incurring a huge demurrage cost.
Safrotin is recommended for restricted use in the house hold segment and the main market is the hospitality sector. However, due to Covid 19the Covid-19 pandemic issue, allmost hotels are closed right now and only a few are operating with minimal cost. Hence, we are finding huge difficulties to liquidate the consignment as we planned.
We are doing our promotional workswork for Safrotin,. We have visited many clients, doing demonstrations, makeand giving technical presentations to explain the benefit of the product. Right now, the response arehas been OK.
Our LC will get maturedmature on 28th August and we will not be able to sell at least 25% of the stock, hence, meeting our payment to the bank seems to be very difficult. We request you to see the possibility of extending the LC period by another 60 days. You may need to contact your bank and contact our bank through the your bank.
