I have taken 2two years of course work at Southern Regional through the dual enrollment program. Each year was a new experience and a new oppurtunityopportunity. I was learning new things every day, and not only that , I was getting a head start on my education towards my nursing degree. All the classes I took were a step closer to a better future for me and also my parents. WhomI owe this to my immigrant parents I owe this to, because they came into an unknown country without anything, but still gave me everything I ever needed. Without them, I would have never had the opportunity to study. Southern Regional Technical College is preparing me for a better future by opening new opportunities that other people are unable to experience. I have gained the knowledge needed to obtain my dream career. Teachers at SRTC do not hesitate to help out a student. There are many options that are available to students thatwho need an extra hand. A college education will help me maintain a physical, mental, and finicialfinancial stability in my future, but it will allthey will require me to earn it. In the progress of earning all those things, I will have some struggles and downfalls in college. Those struggles and downfalls will make me a better and smarter person and allow me to strategize my next move, so it will not happen again in the near future. In my career field of choice, I have to make the right decisions under pressure, think fast, and move fast, and over all college prepared me for these obstacles. AIt has been a pathway to success.
