Have you ever had something bad and good things happenhappening at once? Well, I did. It was Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 and it was a beautiful day to do anything you wanted. I had so many things planned,; for example, I wanted to go play soccer, go out for a run, and also go out to eat. Unfortunately, one phone call messed up my whole plan and my mood. A phone call from my friend Kerin. Thatthat said “ I tested positive for COVID-19.” At that moment I was paralyzed and couldn’t think straight, but Partpart of me knew I was going to test positive too. I dropped everything thatI was on medoing and, without hesitation, I headed to gowent to get tested as well. While, getting tested, I started to think about my family. What would happen if I endended up testing positive? Would they end up having the same result as me? I was worried. But that wasn’t even the scariest part. The scariest part was waiting for the result. Finally, after 30 minutes of terrifying minutes, I got the result. That said, I tested positive for COVID-19. I immediately took out my phone and called my parents and the friends that I wasI had been in contact within those weekswith until then. theyThey all got tested as quickestquickly as they can butcould, and only my family tested positive at that moment there were no options but. There was no other option than to pray and stay strong. We all are looking after each other, and hoping to get better and join back in the rest of the world soon.
