Dear Bob,
itIt was amazing to hear from you again. My first job is at a cafeteria. I mainly work night shifts there throughout the weekend. At my work, everybody is equal so that means we share our work with the co-workers,; we all clean and prepare the food throughout the day. With a night-shift, you have to clean the whole place and keep the customers happy while doing it, you. You also have to stock everything up again so there is enough for the next day. About two years ago, I started doing this job and haven’t even thought about quitting. From my job, I learned a lot of things that came unexpectedly, one of the main things was customer service. We have to be nice to them and always try to help them. Another thing I learned was cooking, because we mainly cook food and I can say that wasn't perfect at the start. The only problem I ever had was customers who did not want to cooperate for a solution and eventually just blamed me for a mistake that I did not make.
Best wishes,
Jens Hooijmans.
