Dear Chris,
I hope this email finds you well.
This is Dimitra Tampaki, greeka Greek architect and designer,.
I am writing to you to express my interest in organising a new AA Visiting School program in Athens.
I understand the importance of such programprograms, since, in 2011, as a student, I attended the AA Visiting School in Athens and I really enjoyed it. I remember it as a wonderful experience, and in. In fact, it was a great push for my decision to come to London and study in the AADRL—from which I graduated in 2014—2014.
After thatgraduating, I have been workingworked at Ross Lovegrove and Foster & Partners before moving back to Greece in 2017. I have now established my own company, where I create 3D printed jewellery.

I would also like to indicate Niccolo Casas as a teaching partner

With Niccolo weand I share the same interest for the relation of Body-Architecture,; a relation that we’d like to address within a new AA Visiting School in Athens.
We strongly believe that an intensive investigation into the Body-Architecture relation via the integration of digital analysis, design, fabrication and traditional craftsmanship could be particularly suitable here in Athens, where sculpture and architecture met, in the ancient past, in what portably areare probably the most wonderful combinations humanity ever produced. Just think about the Elgin Marbles or the Caryatid statues.
Please let me know if that would bethis is something you and the School couldwould be interested in and we could discuss further.
Thank you for your time and I am lookinglook forward to hearhearing back from you.
Yours sincerely,
Dimitra Tampaki
