I am writing this letter to bring to your attention aboutto the urgent evaluation enforced on us by the members of CATHOLIC WOMEN ASSOCIATION, (CWO). I am concerned to learn of the recent events that occurred endingat the end of last year. The store under Ibedionu Patrick's name was given to us years ago. And, and according to the constitution of the church, " Once given a store, it'sit remains yours until you decide to leave"."
But due to the injustice and the partial nature of the CWO members, they organised a meeting and decided to evacuate us " Ibedionu Patrick" from the store for no good reason. We were falsely charged forof an accusation that we didn't commit and we'rewere told to evacuate in three monthsmonths' time. I and myMy family and I pressed charges onin court and we won the case, but still it's not okay with the CWO Membersmembers. Their hatred and prejudice against us is too much that they cannot forgive us and let us stay. They even gave our neighbor two stores to stay in, whereas in the church constitution, it'sit states that, " One person can only own and stay at one store"." But still, we kept quiet because they call us " Ndi obia," which means visitors. Those thisThis means that a visitor cannot own things in another man's land?
I know my brother that havewho has a lot of properties in another statesstate, but they never encounterencountered such hatred and problems from the indigens of the state.
I urge you, Rev. Fr., to ensure that a full and impartial investigation is undertaken into the matter. I hope that you bring the truth to the light and give justice to the people.
