By analyzing the literature, we find that interest teaching is a problem that many educators constantly improve upon, apply and solve. This is a teaching method advocated and recommended by the educational circles at present. This paper analyzes the development of interest teaching in primary school English teaching according to the theoretical research results in related fields. In the research process, the connotations and requirements of various theories also put forward new requirements and auxiliary conditions for the integration ofintegrating the interest teaching mode in primary school English classes. While drawing lessons from predecessors' experience, it also summarizes and analyzes the present situation. For example, most of themeducators pay attention to classroom teaching objectives and syllabus design, but do not pay attention to expanding the demand for interestingthe interest teaching mode design and material richness, and pay little attention to students' subjectivity and their own needs. The application of interest teaching can make it easier for students to accept English teaching and master English teaching knowledge, which not only enhances the essence of teaching, but also enhances the attraction of learning English to students.
