Passages likesuch as graduation, having a baby, finding a job, marriage, divorce, losing a close friend or a family member. These passages can make our liveslife easier, harder, sweeter or bitter. GettingBecoming accepted can make people feel that they'rethey are important. Rite of passage is a celebration of life, it'sit is a ceremony to getbecome accepted by family and society. This passage happened 14 months ago in my life when I graduated from high school and decided to leave my country-homecountry and immigrateemigrate to the U.S. When I decided to leave my country, I knew that I have athe road ahead would be long and difficult road ahead. Difficulties likewith many hardships such as being far from home, family and friends, the challenge of learning a new language, finding new friends and communicating with people. The first challenge was learningto learn a new language, when I came to the U.S I knew that I needed to learnLearning English. Learning a new language was quite a big and tough obstacle for meobstacle because communicating with new people was hard for me. FirstDuring my first days in the U.S, I couldn'tcould not even talk with people. Whenever I wanted to talk, my voice started to shake and I wasn't ablewas unable to even finish my sentences. ThereThese were extremely hard days for me but I didn't wantrefused to give up on my dreams, so I decided to overcome this problem. It definitely was difficult at first but “ problems worthy of attack prove their worth by fighting back,” says Piet Hein. I didn'tdid not want to give up on my dream, I wanted to fight for it and I did, I talked and communicatecommunicated with people.
